Guadalajara, the third-largest city in Mexico and the capital of Jalisco, is renowned for its rich cultural heritage and vibrant modern life. It is the birthplace of mariachi music and is closely associated with tequila, two iconic symbols of Mexican culture. The city's historic architecture showcases its colonial past. Known for its dynamic culture and arts scene, GDL is home to some of Mexico's most notable murals, particularly those by José Clemente Orozco. His powerful and expressive works can be found in several prominent locations, including the Hospicio Cabañas, a UNESCO World Heritage site, where his masterpiece "The Man of Fire" adorns the dome.
